Marc & Suni 在西班牙
Quesa, a village where my husband Marc grew up (about an hour's drive from Valencia, Spain) has a very special and authentic food called: Gazpacho Manchego The origin of a Spanish shepherd's food 💕🌟 Gazpacho Manchego ⁉️ Many people must have heard of the Spanish cold soup Gazpacho, But this food is not as well known as cold soup, it was once a recipe for survival for Spanish shepherds, who long ago spent weeks walking along their flocks in the mountains of the interior of Spain in the area of Quesa and nearby, They relied on this dish to fill their stomachs. The shepherds tore up the "torta" (big cake) and threw it into the pot to cook with the soup. If they had hunted animals, such as rabbits or chickens, they would also throw it in and cook it together. Then they used the big cake as a plate. Then put the cooked food on it to eat! Finally, they will eat cakes that absorb all the flavors. Now this food has been used as a highlight of the local restaurant. The ingredients are simple: 🔴 Torta cakes: cakes made of flour, salt and water, which can be used as raw materials for leeks or eaten separately. Usually it includes small pieces of pancakes, garlic, pepper, tomato shreds, and then some meat: chicken, rabbit, lamb or other...Add water or canned soup and cook it to thick soup. When I was a child, I shared this food and celebrated me every summer with my family at Quesa's famous restaurant. Grandma's big life 📍Bar La Parra: Av.
